01

Driveways, Paths & Concrete

Concrete holds on to traffic film, moss and mould, which is why hosing it never seems to do much. A surface cleaner works the whole slab at an even pressure, so it comes back uniform rather than striped.

  • Driveways, paths, footpaths and crossovers
  • Paved courtyards, patios and brick paving
  • Even finish with no wand streaks or missed strips
  • Run-off rinsed down and cleared afterwards

Roof Cleaning

Moss and lichen hold moisture against a roof and spread every wet Ballarat winter. Soft washing clears them at a pressure the tiles and their bedding can take, rather than lifting or cracking anything.

  • Tile and metal roofs
  • Moss, lichen and build-up removed
  • Soft wash pressure, matched to the roof
  • Gutters cleared at the same visit

  • Gutters cleared and flushed through
  • Downpipes checked for flow
  • Debris removed, not left on the garden
  • Fascias and gutter faces washed down

Will pressure washing damage my concrete?

Not when it is done with a surface cleaner at the right pressure. That is exactly why a spinning surface cleaner is used on slabs rather than a bare wand, which is what leaves the wand marks you sometimes see on a driveway.

Can you clean a roof without walking all over it?

Roof work is done as a soft wash, so most of it happens from the gutter line and from the safest access points rather than tramping across the tiles.

How often should a driveway be washed?

In Ballarat, once a year keeps most driveways ahead of the moss and mould. Shaded, south-facing or tree-lined areas usually want it more often, because they never fully dry out.

Do I need to be home?

Not usually. As long as there is access to the area and an outside tap, most exterior jobs can be done while you are out.
